Poland has some of the best food in Europe (in my opinion). There’s nothing better than a hearty Polish meal on a cold, winter day. There’s just something about it that feels like your Grandmother made it for you – even if you’re eating at a restaurant.
If you’re visiting Krakow, Poland soon, don’t miss these incredible restuarants.
Enoteka Pergamin
What we ordered: mushroom pasta and duck pierogi
Cost: $$
This was a great place to get an amazing, yet affordable, meal! Close to Wawel Castle, so head here after you’re done exploring.
Goscinna Chata
What we ordered: Polish sampler and buckwheat cake
Cost: $$
This was probably my favorite restaurant in Krakow! The space felt so inviting, the food was delicious, and it wasn’t too expensive.
U Babci Malini
What we ordered: Borscht (beet soup) and pierogi
Cost: $
This is a great, very inexpensive place for a quick, delicious meal. The seating is community style. You order at the front and wait for your number to be called, so it’s not a traditional restaurant, but the food was still fantastic.
Restauracja Slowkowska
What we ordered: Soup flight and Polish sampler
Cost: $$
I still dream about this soup flight! It was delicious. The Polish sampler was amazing as well and is big enough for two people to split. The only issue for us is that it may have been an off night, but it took about an hour to get our food.
Coffee Garden
What we ordered: Latte and pastry
Cost: $
The Coffee Garden is located in the Jewish Quarter and is a very cute spot to stop and rest while exploring this part of Krakow.
Augusta Restauracja & Cocktail Bar
What we ordered: Caesar salad and mushroom soup
Cost: $$
The meal at this restaurant wasn’t necessarily amazing, but it’s located on a boat sitting in the river running through Krakow. You’ll pass these boats on your way to the Jewish Quarter. I just thought this was a cool venue for a restaurant.
